OH how sad. I'm done school!! Forever! D: I'm happy and sad all at the same time XD
Yesterday was my last day. And it's odd because our graduation ceremony is only on August 20th hah. Oh well, I don't mind. That way I'll stay in touch with my fellow students and teachers for a good part of the summer ^__^ I will miss them.
Now, I have to find a full time job for the summer, to save up to move to Montréal in September! Montréaaaal, I can't wait!
I'll have to occupy myself by improving my demo reel and painting and reading and stuff this summer. I feel weird having free time. It's just not normal XD
Yay painting! Hopefully I'll update more on here. Oh speaking of updates, I posted a few shots of my recent works on my blog: [link] If anyone is interested...
I wonder if I work on my art enough, if I could start selling commissions? I need moneys -.- What do you guys think?

Sorry I haven't been updating as much on here. I have less than 6 weeks of school left so its crunch time for me. Focusing everything I have on my school work right now.
I pretty much have a list of stuff I want to do over the summer once this is done XD Paintings, books to read, games to play, aaah, it will be great lol

Of course, as always I had to disappear from DA for months at a time!! I don't know why I always do that. It's hard for me to keep updates, or maybe it's because I'm never 100% happy with my work so I don't see the point of posting it XD I don't know, in any case, if anyone out there is actually watching my account, I apologize.

Now, here's the irony. I'm actually thinking I need to make a blog XD I know, I'm asking for it, but I really really need to kick myself and work hard and keep updates because well, in 3 months, I'm out of school and I need to find work somewhere! The real world, scaryness

But, the good news is, I'm moving to Montreal in September, YAY ^_^ I've just come back from there. My class mates and I had the wonderful opportunity to tour Ubisoft, EA games, and Autodesk while in Montreal. The trip really inspired me to work harder so that one day I can work in a place like those ^_^ It was really super cool to see the inside of a big gaming company, I consider myself very lucky! It was nice to be in the big city again, I miss it already XD

Anyways, I won't make any promises but I'm hoping to have more updates in the next couple of months. Oh! And I'm getting a laptop So that will really help with my busting my ass working and all, woot!

Ok, it's been waaaay too long.

I log in and DA is completely different! I can't believe my last update was in January! Wow, where does the time go? I guess it's just been a busy year! School, and work and stuff.

Anyways, I haven't had much time to draw a lot. We're getting pretty well into the 3D stuff at school now, so I'll probably update some of my 3D things.
6 months later and I'm still loving school ^_^ I have a little less than one year left there. That's a scary thought. Slow down time , slooow dooown!

Well, some things have changed since my last journal. I'm now living with my bf and our 3 cats XD Lots of cat fur to go around, eesh. But I love em ^_^
I'm kicking myself in the ass for not drawing more, stupid stupid Mel...
I did just buy this awesome Chinese calligraphy set a few days ago and I can't wait to have a few spare hours to try it out! It's so cooool! Like having to grind the ink, and sculpting the stone to make you own seal and everything. I'm excited, woot!

Oh, I've gotten a few more tattoos. And hopefully will get another within the next couple of months. I think, I'm addicted.
Other than that...I've been reading a lot. It's my summer thing. Every summer (even though I'm still in school) I go through this phase where I read non-stop. It's a habit of mine I guess.

Wow, 2008 already! Time goes by way too fast!

I hope everyone had a good new years and happy holidays! I sure did, kept me really busy anyways. Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've just been reading a lot since vacation gives me the chance to do that XD I finally finished the Golden Compass trilogy (which is AMAZING), I'm half way through Twilight, and then after that, I'm moving on to the Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy books ^_^ God I love books! Oh and I bought a huuuge Xmen encyclopedia! It's so awesome ^_^ And a cool new art book! Woot!

I got Guitar Hero 3 as well, which I had never played until Christmas eve. Needless to say, I am now addicted XD Other than that, I got some apartment stuff; wine glasses, decorations and such.

So Monday begins a new quarter in school! I'm excited to get my grades back from last quarter to see what I can improve on. I love school XD

Oh, and I haven't forgotten about the sketches thing, I've just been procrastinating...as usual. Thanks for your patience guys ^_^

I saw I am Legend over the weekend, such a wicked movie! I love Will Smith!

Anyways, I'm gonna get back to my little bubble and read some more, so, Happy New Year! Hope 2008 is super great for you all ^_^
